We are facing some server issues for demo sites that why we are not sending out demos for the moment we expect this to be fixed within this month and no worries we have you all listed in queue

We have promised our members we will have the two popular plugins which are WooCommerce and BuddyPress to be implemented in Ultimatum and as usual we have released those implementations earlier then expected.

As of Ultimatum 2.3.5 we are proud to announce that Ultimatum now supports those plugins seamlessly for developer’s License owners as usual.

Those two plugin implementations will only be available to our dev. license owners and above and will not be available for standard license owners.

As our members and many interested people know Ultimatum is a huge structure and it took time for WPML to approve its all functions were working fine with their system. Today they have sent us the news that they were glad and proud to list Ultimatum as a WPML compatible theme.

Our members who own Ultimatum already knew and used that but there was always a question mark in their head why we were not listed on WMPL. Well as stated above Ultimatum is huge and it needed to ne inspected in detail for all its functions and WPML did a great job while reviewing Ultimatum. The worked intensely with us to make it bulletproof. We would like to thank Laura, Bigul and Amir for their responsiveness and enthusiasm about Ultimatum.

If you are looking for a website which is easy to manage and able to support multiple languages only tools you need are WPML and Ultimatum.

With new version we are bringing some more features which are to be surprises on release date and some minor fixes.

The new version of Ultimatum will be announced for Developer’s license owners next week and one week after the starter’s license will be updated however some new features will be again for only developers license owners and will not be accessible by starter license owners.

What makes your framework is different then others?

We tried to explain this with some titles in this blog post. After you read them you will understand why we are telling Ultimatum is different than any other WordPress Framework.

Drag and drop System like never seen before

Ultimatum like others in market is promising drag and drop layout builder however the approach to this aim in Ultimatum differs from other fellow frameworks.How?
First of all Ultimatum does not use sidebars and widgets technology in traditional sense. We were making some polls and the results were same… Yes I can have unlimited sidebars and place them in my theme but having that much sidebars make it confusing in backend and results forgetting which sidebar was placed where. So there was a need of a system in which user could see the exact location of their sidebar or widgets included in it. We decided to make a canvas in which every item were widgets and user could see which widgets they were using on which part of site easily. And then we decided to take it one step further and decided to make the loop which prints the WordPress content a widget as well. With this approach we made sure user could also have control over loop and where to show it. below is a sample layout generation screen in which you can see all elements forming the layout in their places.

As you can see in the image user knows where they have published the menu the logo the content and all other elements they wanted to use in their layout generation/editing screen. All those elements are drag-gable and dropable in other containers in layout and this gives user the freedom of playing with each item until they find a satisfactory layout which suits their like.

You really do not need to code!

With many Frameworks in market user has a bunch of code which makes them to write their code easier. Actually this is the definition of the term Framework. Let’s consider some frameworks in market such as Zend, Code Igniter and Cake PHP. I hear you telling that they have nothing to do with WordPress! Well you are right all those frameworks are developed for easy PHP coding so you will not need to write some of highly used PHP functions again and again this is the same for WordPress frameworks also. They give the coder the ability to write less code and do more in return.

After giving brief information lets look at Ultimatum. Ultimatum with its engine behind does not need any coding. Yes it does not. For example the most coded part in WordPress is the loop. If you want some special actions in loop you need to write your own loop. In ultimatum we made a loop generator where user is asked questions in a simple form and in return of answering those questions the loop is written by engine with user never seeing the code or touching it.

WordPress themes are based on HTML, CSS and PHP and the PHP part is a nightmare for many people who does not know the language. We omitted the PHP part as told before and within it we also omitted the HTML part so each action you take in Ultimatum prints your HTML and PHP. When it comes to how to style the elements in Web we use CSS and Ultimatum makes user not to write that code too. We have included all our elements in a simple form to create a CSS file for you with all actions all effects included so this brings us a result of no single line or single letter of needed environment.

Don’t worry we left a custom CSS panel so you can also write your own CSS options.

All acts in one Central Control

Well to begin with Ultimatum aims to make the user use one central software to handle all operations. While developing Ultimatum we wanted to create a tool in which user can create anything with it. For that matters we included a killer on Page SEO helper, powerful slideshow system a powerful from generation system and a system that gives total control of custom post types in WordPress. For all we have created many widgets and plugins that will ease the implementation and make it possible to create everything with just clicks and drag and drop features.

We are constantly working on those features to make them more powerful and to add more features to Ultimatum. So in the end our aim is to give our members one product that can do anything they want without spending a dime on any other products.
