Oh, happy day!
November is pretty much half way done and that means the year is that much closer to being over.
Not that I’m in any hurry for that, but there’s something about a new year that gives a fresh start to goals and things to come.
There has been quite a bit of chatter going on in the WP nation the past couple of weeks.
Here is our roundup to get you all caught up.
WordCamp US is upon us
If you’ve ever wanted to know what a WordCamp is like, then WordCamp US is probably the best one you can go to get the real feel for the true epicness that it brings.
It will be held in Philadelphia and tickets are going fast, so don’t miss out!
Jetpack and Google Plus get friendly
If you use Jetpack on your blog, you likely updated to the most recent version of it that was released not too long ago.
What you may not have caught on to is the new feature inside of it.
The update made it possible to add a Google Plus badge to any widgetized area on your blog. This is a nice touch if you’re looking to grow your G+ following or if that your social network of choice.
Pietro: A significant update to BuddyPress
BuddyPress users can rejoice at the major update that came to the plugin this month.
This update saw quite a few tweaks and additions to make it the best BuddyPress plugin version so far.
Home Pages now can have the ability to have header images for each group, but the best part comes to the bug fixes that really make the system work smoother for everyone.
You can read up on the rest of the good stuff on the BuddyPress Blog.
